I truly enjoy finding not just the easiest but the most interactive and personalized ways to reach a child and get them excited. Whether it's about playing or homework, or releasing that inner creativity in crafts (or that not-so-inner energy for sports!) I believe that everyone has some TRUE talent that comes natural to them, and usually there's a way to use what comes naturally in other areas that don't. You just need to work with them one-on-one and keep trying different angles until you're able to relate with them. And that moment, where it just clicks in, is an extraordinary satisfying one - for myself, you - the parents. And of course, for your child! I love keeping children active through play, creative with arts & crafts, winding down with books, and finding new activities for them in areas they have interest already. Getting outdoors for some fresh air, whether it's for a break or a field trip, really makes all the difference when you're young still and I believe in keeping busy throughout the day. I have many years of experience taking care of kids. I've worked as a camp counsellor, babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher's assistant (jk/sk classes) not to mention the many young family members I'm lucky enough to have. I've looked after infants and teenagers and everything in between, and I would love for an opportunity to assist you and your family.
