I like kids, I dont have any but I love getting to work with them. I think the way our minds learn and develop at all points in life is incredibly fascinating but during early childhood even more so. I love learning and imagination; craft time and clean up and think that these values are integral and adaptable throughout our whole lives. I\'m easy going with experience managing a house hold and special education towards nutrition and wellness for all ages. I also like reading and outside and turning things that otherwise seem boring into games. 10 second tidy being by far the most applicable :) I teach an after school art class with a local artist for kids ages 4-14. Class sizes range from 6-11 children and although they are in general age groups they tend to mix between 4-12 and 10-14. I have also organized and ran summer day camps with a focus on science and art with activities ranging from building your own "robot" to different types of chemical reactions (making bath bombs, volcanos etc). I come from a large family with a great many cousins so childcare has always been part of my life and I really enjoy working with kids-from homework to craft time to outdoor sports and why vegetable are awesome. It is a privilege to help shape young minds and show them how cool learning and life is.
