Nanny in Regina, Saskatchewan

I have recently started my journey at the U of R in the faculty of Education. While working at the Daycare I found my love for education and waned to further my own education and become a teacher. I have always loved children and being around them. I have babysat since I have been able to and have really enjoyed it. I finished my level 1 ece recently and have done many workshops. I am looking for a casual job while I am going to University. I am energetic and will am always on the go. I love planning activities for children and doing crafts. I beleive in taking advantage of all the little things and turning them into edcational experiences. I worked at Esterhazy Daycare for 2 years as a Preschool educator. I did programming, and day to day activities with the children such as crafts, science experiments, and outside play and exploration. At the daycare I had a 10 to 1 ratio of children ranging from ages 2.5 to 7. I have also worked with infants at a 3 to 1 ratio and toddlers at a 5 to 1 ratio. I have been to many workshops such as Art with Max, Play and Exploration, and The Project Approach. I have completed my Level 1 Early Childhood Education certificate at Yorkton Regional College. I have also volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor program, have worked with children with Autism through a respite program in Esterhazy and at the daycare, and I have done many babysitting jobs on the side for friends and family.
