Nanny in Barrie, Ontario

I have recently graduated from the Early Childhood Education course at Georgian College. I am seeking full time employment working with children. Working with children has always been a personal goal. I have various experience working with children in many different environments, such as daycares, personal homes and the education system. I am open to challenges and opportunities. My goal is to pursue a Nanny position within a family. I have had lots of experience working with children of all ages, such as: Within High School and College I have completed many different placements of all ages within different schools as well as day cares. Once I completed College I got hired on with a day care that I did a previous placement with. I enjoyed working in the day care setting. It was a fast paced environment, many different challenges, communication, adapting to different children's needs, creating lesson plans and implementing them, each week would involve creating a new weekly agenda, and much more. Unfortunately, the day care environment was not for me. (The particular day care I was at was poorly managed). This is when I decided to become a Nanny. I truly love being a Nanny and caring for the children. Currently I have been with the same family for 3 years. I started with the child when she was 8 months and she is currently 3 and a half years of old. My duties with her include: morning routine, meal plans, household duties, physically and verbally interactions with child throughout the day, would seek out programs and activities that stimulate child's social skills and development, such as: swimming lessons, dance lessons, play dates, going to the park, daily outings, learning activities, nature walks and much more.
