Nanny in Acton, Ontario

I have over ten years experience working with children and families. I am looking to work in or near my home, and be able to get my daughter (and potentially your children too) to and from school. I can work from my home or yours. I am active with children and feed them healthy foods. prior to moving to Acton, I have taken my group of kids to swimming/gymnastics lessons during the day, library programs, early years centres etc. I like to keep the children engaged and active. I focus on healthy self esteem, positive learning environments, and learning through play. I provide a structured day (with set times for snacks/lunch/rest) but the rest of the time is for open ended exploration. I have my education in Child and Youth Studies (degree) and Children\'s Mental Health (diploma.) I have also completed training with Children\'s Aid Society as a volunteer before moving to Acton. I have first aid, and all background checks can be done at any time. I am willing to take on part time or full time, but please do not message me and offer me minimum wage or lower. Please honour that I have five years of schooling and extensive experience, though a bartering of skills is something I would consider. I have done home daycare for the past six years, I have worked in group homes before that for a few years. I have also volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada in the Brownie program prior (as a leader), and that was for ten years.
