I have enjoyed working with children of all ages for my entire career. I have learned a great deal about child development, including the uniqueness of each child and the importance of fostering good self-esteem, self-respect and a sense of belonging and acceptance. I have been fortunate to work with children in a variety of settings that include family homes, schools, recreational centers, and educational centers. Each of these experiences has helped me develop my skills as a child care provider. I am adept at activity programming, social skills training, and creating structure that is both sensitive to the child’s developmental needs and fun. I believe that I have a lot to offer in regards to caring for children and I would like the opportunity to have an interview with you to share my experience more fully.
