Recently, I have a part time position in the afternoon on the weekdays :) In July, Sep 2014 - Jan 2015, I had been working full time short term live out nanny for Dettman Family. I had a great opportunity to take care of 2 little boys. They were 6 months old and 2 1/2 years old when I started. I worked around 35 hours a week. Various hours. Mon - Fri Since Oct 2012 - June 2014. I was working full time as a live-in caregiver for Zaluski family in N.W. area. I had been taking care of a smart boy and a energetic girl. When I first met them. They were 4 years old and 2 years old. My hours work was 7:30-5:00 p.m. Mon - Fri Previously, I had been working full time as a live-in caregiver for Grainger Family since Nov 2010-Sep 2012. I was taking care of 2 boys. When I started they were 7 years old and 4 years old. My responsibilities were preparing balance meals for the boys; breakfast lunch and dinner, driving them to and from school. Also, to their activities classes, providing a good learning environment while they were not at school, Maintain safety and health for the kids, playing game such as board game, playing sports with the boys such as swimming soccer skating hiking biking toboggan playing in the snow, reading, assisting with their home work, Also providing light housekeeping , laundry, grocery shopping and walking dogs. My hours work was 7 am - 6 pm, 44 hours a week, Monday until Friday..................................................................................................... From Nov 2009-Oct 2010, I worked full time as a Live-in Caregiver for Kirlin family in Calgary. I was taking care of newborn baby boy and 2 and a half years old girl. My day starts at 8 am-5 pm, 44 hours a week, Monday until Friday. My duties were supervise and care for the kids, play, bath, dress and feed the baby. Prepare nutritious meals for the kids, organize activities such as game; board game; craft materials and assist the kids to use them ( I teach the girl to use a pencil, scissors, glue and some special craft materials) ; outdoor sport, Take the kids to the park or play in the backyard or play in the snow, Dance and sing along with Thai and English language, Play with the baby, Take the kids to their classes such as swimming, gymnastic or library class, Instruct the kids in personal hygiene and social development, Read and speak to the kids in Thai and English, Sterilize bottle; prepare formulas and water; change diaper for the boy, Maintain safety and health for the kids, Tend to emotional well-being of the kids, Discipline according to the methods requested by their parents. Experience in USA : I worked as an Aupair in USA for 2 years from Feb 2007-Feb 2009. I lived with American host family in Columbus, Ohio. Om my First year I was taking care of a girl 3 , and a boy 1 years old. On my second year , we had a new family member, a baby boy. When I finished my Aupair program, they were 5 , 3 1/2, and 6 months old. My standard schedule was 8 am-6 pm, 5 days and 45-50 hours a week. My duties included making their breakfast, lunch and sometimes I made dinner for them too. I gave them a bath. I took them to school or their class. I made activities such as making craft, coloring, dance and sing, playing with them, playing game, making cookies, exercising also they loved to play yoga and I like to play with them. I took them to walk, ride a bike, play at the swing set and play in the snow outside in winter. I took them to the park, library, zoo, pool or to play the water at the outdoor kid's fountain at the mall. I made play dates for them to play with their friend. I made activities that they could do together. Also Guy (boy) is extremely allergy of peanuts, mildly of tree nuts; shellfish; cats and dogs. I checked all his food to make sure that it didn't have anything he would react to. I checked his friend's food too because he couldn't even touch peanuts. For the baby I fed him milk and burp him, fed food, holding and playing with him, walking outside with his sibling when the weather was nice, changed diaper, bath and rocking him to nap. I did laundry of their clothes, taking care of their play room, kitchen and laundry room.......................................................................................................................................................... ........................................................................................................................................................................................................ Experience in Thailand : I have trained to take care of children at Foundation for Slum Child CareThailand; totalling 241 hours from May 2006-July 2006. They trained me how to care for newborns - 5 years old. They taught me how to hold newborns, bath newborns and toddlers, prepare milk or food, feed milk or food, burp, rock or put the kids to nap, play and organize activities, look out for them to ensure their safety...................................................................... May 2009 - Sep 2009 I worked part time job as a Teacher at Quality Kids. Additional Experiences : The EurAupair Aupair workshop at New York, USA from Feb 13 - 17 .... This workshop included no less than eight hours of child safety instruction, no less than four hours of which is infant related and twenty-four hours of child development instruction, of which no less than four hours relate to children under two years of age. First aid and CPR Certificate at Kluaynamthai Hospital (July 2009). First aid and CPR Certificate Level C from Canadian Red Cross 2012 - 2.... USA Driving license from April 2007- February 2009 . Alberta Driving license since 2010 – until current time.
