I have an excellent background in child and home care. I was lucky enough to get the chance to teach kindergarten for two years in Thailand. During this time I developed a love of travelling as well as experiencing new things. I have found that this experience has made me a very open and dynamic person, and I am able to jump into any sort of work experience and bring the best version of myself. Upon returning home I started working as a private nanny for children ages 6 months to 8 years old. I try to provide a fun, engaging environment. In addition to looking after planning activities and following food and sleep schedules, I also help out with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Before living in Thailand I finished my degree in Mathematics, but found what I enjoy most is working with kids. In addition to both of these jobs I have also worked as an Educational Assistant where I worked with children with a wide range of learning disabilities. I feel that my past work experience allows me to be a flexible and organized nanny/helper for a family. I also truly just love working with kids, and I bring that enthusiasm with me everyday to work. I also was Keystage Leader for the English Kindergarten department in my second year, where I looked after 14 other kindergarten teachers. I also worked with the Thai kindergarten leaders to plan activities and camps for the whole kindergarten department. I worked as an Educational Assistant in a high school setting. I worked with students who had a range of learning or physical disabilities. I would work with the teacher to create and individual learning program for each student.
