I have a lot of experience in minding kids of all ages. I have experience in minding kids with allergies, physical/ mental disabilities. I have experience in teaching 30 Grade 1 and 2 kids. I am very flexible with hours and can work over nights and weekends. I absolutely love kids and because of my experience I have learned so many different tricks to keeping those tears at bay! Well to start, I have been a babysitter since the age of 12- baby sitting for my cousins, neighbors, and families in the community; caring for newborns and kids of all ages. I started college/ university with a keen interest to help people and I chose the course Social Care. This course has thought me to care for people, to help improve their life through different interventions and for people with physical, psychological, social educational and emotional problems. Throughout college I did different placements and volunteer work. For 3 months I was a special needs assistant in a class room to 15 kids of all different ages and disabilities. I was also a addiction group facilitator to children and teenagers who's lives had been affected by drugs/ alcohol. I was also a Grade 1 classroom teacher, and a Grade 2 math teacher in a school in Abu Dhabi. I was responsible for over 30 kids throughout the day, teaching them phonics, math, science, comprehension etc. I honestly love working with children and I am a respected nanny/sitter/ teacher. When my contract ended in Abu Dhabi, I then moved to Canada where I have a 2 year visa. I have all injections including tetanus, TB, BCG, HEP B&C. I also am a qualified lifeguard where I obtained my CPR & First Aid.
