I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and English and recently graduated from Conestoga College with an Educational Assistant Certificate. As a part of the comprehensive education at Conestoga, I also participated in hands on training at schools to develop my childcare skills and really put to work all the valuable information I was learning about in my Educational Assistant program. I learned how to support services that maximized students learning experience and provided and supported areas of personal care, behavior management and instructional program under the direction of the supervising Educational Assistant. I also maintain a volunteer position in a JK/SK classroom where I assist the teacher to create an environment that is full of learning opportunities and self-discovery. I am looking to use my hard-working skills in a team based environment, with also the aspect of working independently. I am reliable, friendly, energetic, and a fast learner, all aspects that I feel can be a great attribute to your environment.
