Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

I live in South Edmonton and work a full time job downtown during the day, monday to Friday. I'm am looking to fill my schedule in with babysitting jobs during the evenings and weekends to save up and go back to school. I'm hoping I can find a few families that would become regulars as I think it's always better to build a friendship with the family so both the kids and parents trust me and feel comfortable relying on me to care for their children. I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, crafting and exploring the outdoors. I am comfortable with all ages from newborn to young teeny-boppers who might just need someone around the house while their parents are out. One of my first (and favourite) jobs was working as an Early Childhood Educator at a local preschool/daycare centre. I have always loved working with children and obtained my level one Early Learning and Child care certificate when I was in high school. I have experience caring for children of all ages and abilities. My past work experience includes infants, toddlers, and pre-school aged children in a daycare and babysitting setting; as well as school aged children with and without special needs. I have gained 3 years of work experience volunteering at both an elementary school and middle school with many classes including special needs; specifically Autism, Aspergers, Epilepsy and ADHD.
