Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I don\'t have much professional experience in the child care field, most of my experience lies in my family. I have cared for and assisted in the raising of my nieces and nephews for many years, learning many things along the way. While I may not be able to add that onto my resume I do feel that I learned more that way then I would have in a paid position. I have first aid/ CPR certification as well as 3 years in a Registered Nursing program behind me as well. I enjoy caring for children very much. Unfortunately I will only be available over the summer as my program will start again in September. Worked casually for the Makonsag Aboriginal Headstart program located in Ottawa, ON, taking care of several children at one time. Supervised activities and provided child care for parents. Assisted with bathroom needs and diaper changes. As an aunt of several children of various ages I have become adapt at raising/taking care of children whether they be my own kin or others. As a nursing I am aware of health precautions in various situations and the ways in which to effectively handle them.
