I consider myself to be a very fun and outgoing individual who loves working with children in diverse circumstances, whether it be volunteering or paid employment. I enjoy doing many different types of activities with the children I work with, and I understand how to adapt these activities to suit the individual(s) age, gender, mobility level, etc. Being active is something that is important to me and that I bring to my work with children however possible. I have a variety of experience working with children of all ages. I have coached a hockey team of girls between the ages 13-14. I was also a counsellor at a basketball camp for three summers for kids between the ages of 6-13. I volunteered as a mentor at the Pathways to Education program for kids from grade 9 to 12. Growing up, I also babysat for a number of families, and would at times be watching up to five children.
