I believe that every child is equal while still being unique. Each child deserves as much affection that can be given, and each child has his or her own strengths and weaknesses to be embraced. It is my goal to help every child in my care become confident, happy, and respectful of both him or herself and others. All children need the best possible environment, made just for them, in order to grow! (: I have worked in an afterschool/daycare facility with over 60 school aged children (5-12). My duties included maintaining consistency and routine; keeping control and discipline; aiding the children through their social development and working with the parents for a better experience; and showing patience and affection to each child and their own unique needs.
