Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I believe life is like a river and that it has to flow in order to move foward if not it stagnates. In the same way children need to explore and learn in order to grow mentally, spiritually and physically. The childs mind is like a sponge and it absorbs and holds everything they see us as adults say and do....we as adults must set the example. I have try a set a positive example and do not make promises I cannot keep. I am always on time as I believe being late is a sign of disespect...but then that is my pesonal view. I have more than 20yrs experience as I worked for the City in the Community Centres and I later opened my own daycare. I then went into nanny field and enjoy working with families. I love learning from children and they have taught me to be childlike and not childish. Kids find the joy in the smallest things and if I can take a page from their book.... my life would be so much easier..lol. I have done from arts and crafts to taking kids on day trips...including the doctor, prep food and just had lots of fun with kids and enjoyed every moment of it.
