I am very confident in my abilities to work with children of all ages. I have been through High Five training, and many other courses that were required for my past employment experiences. I have been around children my entire life. I have many younger cousins, and have babysat them for as long as I can remember. My mother has worked as the Best Start coordinator for our district for years, as well as the supervisor for our Early Years Centres in Parry Sound. As a result of this I have volunteered plenty at these organizations, and am very educated in these areas. I genuinely have a love for children of all ages, and I would be so appreciative of an opportunity to work with them throughout my school year to gain more experience, as well as for financial purposes to help pay for my education in an extremely enjoyable field of work. I have been employed by the YMCA in my hometown Parry Sound, ON for three years. I was responsible for the safety, and well-being of children ranging from three years old to twelve years old. I have been employed by Community Living in Parry Sound, and this position consisted of one-on-one work with children with special needs of any kind. This past summer I was employed by the Waubeek Daycare in Parry Sound, and I was responsible for the safety and well-being of infants starting at six weeks old, to children that were three years old. Aside from my employment positions with children, I have been babysitting and volunteering my whole life, and have a genuine love for children.
