Nanny in North Bay, Ontario

I am the oldest of three children so I have always been in the position of helping to take care of other children. I have worked in many setting with children, I got my first babysitting job when I was 12, and have not stopped since. I went on to complete a co-op in an elementary school classroom. The summer before starting university in North Bay I worked as a cabin leader at a residential summer camp where I was responsible for helping plan activities and providing over night care for campers aged 7 - 15. During my time at Nipissing I worked as a summer literacy worker at the public library in Hamilton where I ran a program designed to encourage children to read more and advance their reading levels. I have been lucky enough to work long term for my last two families from the time the children were around a year old until they started school, I hope to find another family I can have the joy of growing with. My current family's care needs have changed and they are happy to provide a reference.
