Hi there ! I am a 24 year old Nursing student in Edmonton that recently moved from Lethbridge, AB. I have always been passionate about specializing in pediatrics so to be have given the opportunity to work at an accredited out of school care program in Lethbridge only sparked more of a desire to pursue that goal. Safety for your children is my number one priority. I worked as a level 1 performing duties which included: program development, educating and delivering proper nutrition, engaging creative sides whilst also aiding in physical development through numerous challenging activities, teaching kids the importance of team work and positivity and last but not least, ensuring proper safety for the children by maintaining knowledge of emergency procedures as well as evacuation procedures when necessary. Not only do I have professional experience, I am also the oldest of five siblings and have had a lot of experience with personal care with my siblings. I have aided with homework, nutrition , household duties, arranging transportation when necessary and overall filling the roles of a caregiver while my parents were away. I also have many years of caregiving experience with neighbors and family friends as well. Moreover, It was truly such a blessing to work in an environment where it felt less of a job and more of an exciting adventure everyday growing and learning more about these mini individuals. I would love to share all that I have learned over the course of my life, work experience and college education and be a great role model for these individuals. I worked at the program "its a Blast" from the duration of January to September. I also have my CPR and First Aid which i will also be renewing in a couple weeks for my clinical during my second semester. I also have a clean criminal record with vulnerable sector that i am willing to provide if needed that is also rechecked every six months as part of our requirement to participate in Nursing Education .
