Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am currently working as a live in nanny with a family in Yukon, Canada, taking care of two boys, ages 5 1/2 and 4. I started working here in Spring 2013, and I will be finishing my year long this April. After that, I will be moving to Madrid, Spain, where I will be working as an Au-pair for the Summer. I am looking for a short term, full time position starting at the end of August/ beginning of September, in Orangeville area. I will be living with my parents from August until January. During this time I will have my own vehicle so it is possible for me to use it for work. After this, I will be attending school at Camosun College in Victoria, BC in an Early Learning and Care Program. I am a positive, energetic and sensitive young woman with a goal to travel as I work with and take care of young children. I am interested in art, Yoga, hiking, music, reading and enjoying the outdoors with my friends and family. I am very passionate about child development which is why I have chosen to study an Early Learning & Care course next year. I love caring for and entertaining children very much and I am aiming to start a career in the field of Child & Youth Care. My love for children is the main reason I have chosen to work as an au pair/ nanny. I think it is very important to have a job that makes you happy, and spending my days doing crafts, singing, dancing, cooking and reading with children is something I find very rewarding. I want to provide responsible and nurturing child care as I travel to gain valuable work experience worldwide. I am currently working as a live in nanny with a family in Yukon, Canada, taking care of two boys, ages 5 and 3. I have been doing occasional babysitting for about 5 years, caring for children between the ages of 1-10. My services include homeschooling, meal prep, light house work, craft & story time, fun and educational games & musical activities. I love caring for and entertaining children very much and I am aiming to start a career in the field of Child & Youth Care. I have occasionally babysat for other families in the Carcross community, children aged 20 months- 5 years. Throughout high school, I babysat for various families in Ontario, ages ranging from 1yo- 10yrs. I was also enrolled in several different child development & family studies courses. These courses involved placements in child care settings such as daycares and elementary schools. During these classes, I was responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children to learn and grow in.
