Nanny in Airdrie, Alberta

I am an recent graduate of Bert Church High School. Graduating with above average grades and an excitement to begin a new chapter in my life. I have three sisters and two brothers, we all get along very well. All three of my sisters are married, my oldest sister has two daughters (2 years old, and a 4 month old), I babysit regularity at my own request, purely out of love of children and my sister. My second oldest sister has a son (1. 5 years), she lives in south Calgary so I do not as often get the chance to babysit. My parents are together and have been for 26 years this Canada Day. They have an amazing and healthy relationship which is a wonderful example to me and my siblings. I enjoy a good variety of activities, always up to try something new unless my standards oppose. I played Volleyball all through high school and played on an extra curricular team and played during my summer. I no longer play because I am focused on finding employment and spending time with my growing family. I am 17 years old so I have not had any professional experiences in childcare. I have however had lots of experiences helping in our home with foster children who have come to live with us. A couple of these children we have or are in the process of adopting. They have come with lots of challenges and I have learned to adapt to the needs that they have. I have learned from my mother and older sisters to be loving but firm. That children learn from being loved and nurtured. I also have learned to take care of little ones as my older sisters have children. I have babysat them as well as taken them out on outings to the Zoo, Riley park etc. I have a lot of energy and I am very creative.
