I am an organized, dedicated, and enthusiastic young woman who is committed to the well-being of the children in my care. I love to love, and I love to live. Thankfully, my love of children is not one-sided; they respond favourably to me as well. I am committed to life-long learning and not afraid to try new things. I believe it is important for children to have positive role models and feel safe and cared for. I look forward to working with your family to create a balanced and enjoyable routine for the entire household. Kids have always been a part of my life. I remember growing up towing along younger cousins and I am now going to school to be an elementary teacher. I have worked with children in homes, schools, and a camp setting. I have babysat newborns to early teens after I got my babysitting certificate when I was 12. I have worked at a summer camp for several summers, working both in group setting and one-on-one. I have supervised, organized, and planned activities for up to 15 children at one time. I have also volunteered and worked in grade three and four classrooms, working again with both groups and individual children. I have spent time with children one-on-one, and of all ages. I have babysat children from multiple families at the same time and have also babysat overnight and for week-long periods. This included transporting children to and from school, on outings, preparing and serving meals, planning and implementing schedules and activities as well as overseeing homework and caring for the family pet.
