I am a young, child loving student. I have worked with children since I had my first job years ago, and would love to continue doing so into my career. I am a creative, attentive, responsible person, who will keep your children entertained and safe! I am a welcoming, friendly person, who will win your children over in minutes! Working with children is something I have always loved and enjoyed, and is never something I've thought twice about. I've had of experience working with children. In the summer camps I've worked at, most parents would look at us with the 30 children, and say, "I just don't know how you do it". I did it because I loved it. Working with so many children presents to you all of the problems a parent may dread. By the end of my first summer, I was well-versed in what may be comically described as disaster management, with accidents, wasp stings, separation anxiety, food allergies, and much more. For two years, I also worked as a sales associate at a toy store. It entailed learning how to cater to both the needs of the parent and child, and understanding children based on their age. I have also spent much or my time occasionally baby-sitting, as well as providing part time after school care to a 7 year old boy. Just recently, I spent 2 months volunteering in a disabled children's care centre in rural Vietnam. It was a wonderful, amazing experience. I spent my time helping in the room for autistic children. Their disabilities with the added language barrier really taught me to have incredible patience and to be unbelievably attentive. Being around children feels natural to me. It's something I greatly enjoy. Working with kids is something I've always known I would and will do.
