I am a young and energetic individual who would love to take care of your kids. I am passionate about childcare, and get along great with children. I have a younger brother and many young cousins, so I was fortunate enough to have many years of caring for children younger than me, even prior to babysitting for other families. I am extremely excited to meet you and your family to see if we'd make a great fit! I obtained many years of babysitting experience between the ages of 12 and 17. I babysat for many large families on a regular basis. One particular family I babysat for quite frequently had four children aged 2,4,7, and 9. I was responsible for helping them with their homework, making supper for them, and putting them to bed. I worked as a nanny for one year before beginning paramedic school and fell in love with the job. I was comfortable doing tasks such as preparing meals for the family when they returned from work, housekeeping, grocery shopping, taking kids to activities. I have now graduated, but have to write the provincial licensing exams before being able to apply for jobs, which can take approximately 1-2 years. I believe many of the healthcare skills I now have would be a great asset in a nanny position.
