Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I am a fourth year Kinesiology student at Dalhousie University looking for a summer job as a nanny in the HRM. I am willing to travel using the bus route or a bike to get to work and have no issue with looking after multiple children (either siblings or friends of the children). My interests include reading, the outdoors, art and finding new and creative ways to lead an active lifestyle. I love animals and have had pets as a part of my entire life, therefore feel comfortable with them as a responsibility as well. I am willing to aid around the house with regular cleaning, cooking and other everyday tasks. I love to help out and am productive when completing a task. I am outgoing and get along well with children; I truly believe that children should spend their summer actively yet safely, enjoying lovely weather outside. I have experience working as a nanny in the summer of 2015, though am looking for a more permanent position as it was only for the months of July and August. I also have worked as a casual babysitter in my neighbourhood throughout my teens, as well as experience tutoring and caring for three children (aged 6, 8 and 11) during the day throughout summer months. Furthermore, I have helped around the house for a couple with three children under 5 by lending a hand with chores and caring for the children. In all cases the health and safety of children was of utmost importance; tasks included meal preparation, education, housekeeping, as well as creative and active play. Up to date CPR-C certified with the standard babysitting course from my teens.
