Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am a recent graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honors in Anthropology and a General in History. I have also most recently completed an 8-month internship with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada here in Toronto. I enjoy spending time with children - I find them to have unique characteristics, particularly as they observe and make sense of their surroundings. I like to be creative with activities that both myself and the children I am caring for can find enjoyable. For example, depending on the child's age, we'll bake cookies together for the family. I started babysitting for families in my neighbourhood when I was 14 years old. I have also had experience as a skating program assistant for the learn to skate program at my local arena for 7 years. Through both babysitting and being a skating program assistant, I have been with children ranging from infancy to 12 years old. As a babysitter, I looked after either 1 child or up to 3 children at most. Most recently, I have provided child care for a 5 month old and a 4 year old.
