I am a mature woman with no children of my own. I love children & find I can relate to them very well. I enjoy spending time with them doing all sorts of activities. I believe it is important to engage with children on an intellectual level & make them feel valued & capable. I also believe it is important to give them emotional support, show them that you value their opinions & feelings & set boundaries for them. Children appreciate being treated as individuals & they like to be listened to, & this is what I try to do with all kids. I have experience working as a teaching assistant in the UK. I also have loads of personal experience with children of all ages in different situations. I am enrolled to take Early Learning & Childcare in September via distance learning. I am obtaining my First Aid/CPR at the end of April.
