I am a loving and nurturing wife and mother to a sweet 7 year old boy who is looking for a fulfilling job providing care for children while my son is at school. In the past, I have been a babysitter (in my teens) caring for two girls over a period of 4 years. I also taught children\'s swimming lessons for several years. Recently, (over a period of 5.5 years), I ran a home daycare and after school program, educating children newborn-10 years old. I am now currently working at the YMCA childcare centers, working with children of all ages in both the daycare centers as well as after school programs. I am set to graduate from Fanshawe this June (2015) with my ECE diploma. I have also volunteered at Childreach for 1 year working with families of children age newborn to 6 years. I am passionate about ensuring that children receive quality and loving care and am now looking to be a nanny in order to share this passion. I enjoy: literacy & language skill acquisition activities, outdoor activities - swimming, splash pads, hiking, biking, soccer, volleyball, badminton, catch, etc..., arts & crafts, baking, dancing/music, and conducting science experiments.
