I am a hard working young woman who is not afraid of a challenge. I enjoy working with children (obviously or I wouldn\\\\\\\'t be on here). I am willing to stay late a few nights of the week and my availablity that is posted on here can be discussed and I am flexible. I am also available for occasional babysitting. I am culturally sensitive and have a broad spectrum of understanding of different cultures and their beliefs. I am unfortunately only fluent in English however I do understand some French. From work experience of doing a homework club I can help with homework and projects. I have kitchen experience and am willing to prepare meals (either for your children or your whole family) for when you arrive home from work and your children from school. Willing to pick up and drop off children at school or day care. I have had two years of practical (unpaid) experience in the field working in schools and community based agencies. I currently am employed through Hunt Club Riverside COmmunity Services Center doing drop-in and after school programs for the children and youth that reside in the Hunt Club/Riverside Area. These programs are primarily aimed at low-income families but are open to any children/youth from the area. I babysat all throuhg high school for children between the ages of 0 and 12. For two years I babysat two children every Friday night. We would play games, watch TV, make snacks and occasionally bake cookies.
