Nanny in Burnaby
I am a certified lifeguard, therefore your children would be safe with me in emergencies and to prevent emergencies. If I babysit on Saturdays, I will bring the kids to church with me in the morning, and occasionally on Sunday evenings. The reason I cannot babysit Sunday mornings and early afternoons is because I have piano lessons at that time. I'm great with kids, I'm really nice and positive, but can also be firm when needed. I am seventeen years old, turning eighteen in December. I'm graduating this June (2012) and plan on attending SFU in September to become a Social Worker. Last March, I went on a mission trip to Tesopaco, Mexico with my school for a week. I taught ESL and helped with crafts in Vacation Bible School for children in grades one to six. The lady next door runs a daycare and I have occasionally stopped by to help her with children ages two to twelve. This year I have completed my AWSI (Assistant Water Safety Instructor) course and WSI (Water Safety Instructor) course, learning to teach all people of all ages (including infants) and have taught children ages two to fifteen to float, swim, and be safe in aquatic environments during the course (eight hours in AWSI and twelve hours in WSI). My neighbor has a baby who is turning one this month (March) and I love to watch after her and she enjoys being with me.
