Nanny in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

I am a 33 year old woman looking for a nanny position while I go back to school. I am currently working full time as a legal advocate but plan on leaving when I start school in the Early Childhood Education program at Sprott Shaw. My class is Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm in Abbotsford so my start time would be dependent on where you live. Ideally I am looking for a start time of 2pm with a finish time of 6pm, flexibility may be an option. I am also okay to do occasional evenings and weekends. My philosophy when I am caring for children is very limited television and lots of fun, outside if the weather permits. I could be described as stern but only when necessary, basically, I\'m not a push-over. I believe in discussing any problems the child is having with me or I with them and coming to an agreement together. I fully believe that routines are the key to a happy a nanny-child relationship. My only expectation from you is that you back me up with this philosophy. I don\'t believe I have met a child that doesn\'t like me...who wouldn\'t! I\'m a child at heart ;) I enjoy arts and crafts, baking, colouring, building things, science experiments, etc. If I sound like I might fit with your family please send me a message. Going through university I was a nanny for two girls for about 3.5 years. I was responsible for pick up from school everyday, snack when they got home, occasional dinner preparation, driving to and from activities, homework, and just plain old having fun. I started babysitting when I was eleven and fell in love with it. I have babysat up to seven children at one time, including twin girls.
