I absolutely love working with children! I come from a long line of teachers who work (or have worked) with children and I would love to carry the torch and work with your child/children :) In Summer 2010, I worked as a Youth Development Coordinator at the African Community Services of Peel. My duties included researching and developing programs for youth, planning and implementing activities for youth, and promoted and administered youth programs. During Summer 2009, I work as a classroom assistant at Imani Jere Children’s Centre in Kibera, Kenya. My duties included supervising children, undertaking learning activities, and assisting the children to complete learning task. From 2004 - 2..., I worked as a tutor/mentor at Maple Leaf Public School. My duties included tutoring elementary school children on topics which included but were not limited to French, English, Mathematics, Science, and Art. Moreover, I worked one-on-one with children with learning disabilities. Lastly, as a high school student I often babysat my younger cousins.
