I absolutely love children! My dream job is to be an elementary school teacher! I have always took any opportunity to be around/care for children! I have had numerous babysitting jobs in the past 6 years and counting. Three years in a row I was a leader of 7-9 children ranging in the age group of 6-12 for a VBS (Vacation Bible School) program! That job entailed singing and dancing, making crafts, playing a variety of games, serving snacks, cleaning up stations, and interacting with the children. For my final year of high school I excelled in work experience working with a kindergarten class, this being the highlight of my days! My duties included assisting children with their school work, testing them, playing an assortment of educational games, wiping/dusting/washing/organizing the class room, interacting with them at recess, and ultimately just being a friend!
