Nanny Job in Halifax, Nova Scotia

We are looking for a dependable nanny/housekeeper to help with our three school aged children starting in September. Our children are 7, 9 and 10 years old. We require someone to pick the kids up from school at 245 and 315 daily, provide them a snack, help with their reading and attend to their needs. Household duties are a important part of the job to keep our place running smoothly, and include: - keeping kitchen clean - laundry - general tidying - very simple meal preparation We have cleaners to do the heavy work on the weekends. Hours are 16-20 hours per week with the usual working hours being : Monday to Thursday 1-530 We recently lost a long term nanny/housekeeper for health reasons. We are hoping to find a mature nanny who is willing to make a long term commitment to our family. Wages start in the range of $15/hour. Time off on March Break, Christmas and having the summers off can easily be arranged if this is suitable to the applicant. Applicants must be non-smoking and have a reliable means of transportation to the south end.
