Hola! Seeking full-time live in nanny, eager to hire immediately. Preferred candidate would have experience in child care. Ability to speak Spanish would be a great asset. About Us - Professional couple (late 30s/early 40s) seeking child care for 3.5 year old boy and 18 month old girl - Mother is Spanish-speaking and children are being taught to be as well - Mother works flexible hours throughout the week days (in airline business) - Centrally located home in West Hillhurst, close to transit/bus, parks, shopping, and bike paths - Our family does not have pets and will never require pet care as part of the job!!! - We value wellness and work/life balance in our lives, and will respect our nanny's opportunity for the same. We operate under a relationship of mutual respect and will not make unnecessary demands. - We do require a candidate that is currently located in Canada - References will be required. A criminal record check may be requested. Duties - The Nanny’s duties include, first and foremost, tending to the child’s total well being in a loving and nurturing fashion, that may include: Bathe, clean, dress child Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious snacks and meals for child Oversee child’s daily activities, such as meals, play and rest periods Discipline children according to the methods requested by the Parents Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise Take children to established weekly classes and activities Provide social interaction opportunities with other children - Maintaining a healthy environment in the home Tidying up after the children and neatly maintain their belongings, bedrooms and play areas.
