Your responsibility is our child and enriching her life. Driving a must Start Date: September 2018 Hello. We are a family of 6, looking for a live in caregiver for our 7 year old daughter with special needs. Candidate will be responsible for her care. You need to be family orientated, love children, fun, enthusiastic, and responsible. You will be required to be available every morning to help get ready for school and possibly taking to school. Afternoon and Evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for getting her up, feeding and planning activities for her throughout the day until she goes to bed. You must be ok with being around in the evenings so parents are able to do other activities with the other children. During the day when she is at school you will be free until school pick up time. You will have two days off. You must be able to do food prep, swim (indoor pool), drive, musical abilities is a huge plus, active and outgoing. You will be responsible for taking her on outings, walks and accompanying to the family to events that she can come to. Experience working with children who have special needs, visual impairments, and developmental delay are an asset. The ability to make a connection and be part of our family is most important. Driving is a must. This is required to take her on outing and explore different place and activities with her. Must be comfortable with dogs.
