Nanny Job in Ancaster, Ontario

About The Job: I am looking for a part time live out nanny for our two sons, a 1 year old and a 5 year old. Both attend full time daycare/school. We are looking for someone to pick up the 5 year old from school and help with homework and take him to his various extra curricular activities as well as some light house keeping ( kids laundry and emptying dishwasher, sweeping the floor etc) and some meal prep time permitting, however the priority is ensuring the kids are well taken care off. An ideal nanny would be be loving, warm and patient and have lots of energy. We have had a nanny in the past and had a very positive experience with her. We are a loving family and would want a nanny who would become part of the family. The nanny would be required 2pm-7pm ( end time is negotiable) but would need to be available for a 2pm start. The ideal candidate would also drive and be comfortable driving our sons to and from their various activities. A typical day for the nanny would like this: Arrive at 2pm and prepare a light snack for the kids Pick up the 5 year old from school at 2:30pm and bring him home and give him a snack Drop off the 5 year old to his first activity at 3:45pm and pick up the 1 year old 4pm-6pm - drop off the 5 year old to his next activity and care for the 1 year old at the activity ( read some books or play with toys while there). 6p-7p - help prep kids for the next day On days when my husband and I are home/home earlier, which is usually 2x a week between 5-7pm we would be looking for some light house keeping to be completed such as doing the kids laundry and emptying the dishwasher. This is just a super quick idea of what days may look like, but we are open to discussing what you are comfortable with. We firmly believe in open and honest communication and believe when the nanny and the parents talk openly and honestly with each other about the needs, things work much more smoothly, We are also flexible with the start date
