Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi there! We are a young family who lives downtown in the Coal Harbour area near the Urban Fare on Bute street. We are looking to find a nanny for our (will be) one year old daughter Nora. Nora is a sweet, easy going and healthy baby. I will be returning to work part time in early November 2018 (3 days per week - ideally Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Shifts would be from around 830am to 5pm - timing is flexible and can be discussed. We are looking for a reliable, responsible and caring child care provider with at least 3 years experience (preference for some experience caring for young children) as well as up to date First Aid/CPR, criminal record check and excellent local references. The ideal nanny would provide positive play / learning environments to enable healthy social and emotional development. We would love to find a nanny who is enjoys the outdoors, is willing to make outings in the neighbourhood to music classes etc with Nora, and who fosters a fun and loving environment. Duties are to feed, play, walk and change our baby. She eats 3 solid meals a day along with milk. The food would be mostly ready with some minimal preparation required. Light tidying of house also required with some laundry and meal prep during naps :) We are an easy going family that loves to spend time outdoors. We are active and like to run and bike with Nora, along with lots of trips to nearby parks and pools. We have a busy family life with two sets of grandparents and lots of aunts and uncles in Vancouver. We love living downtown right on the seawall with easy access to everything we need. I am a lawyer and my husband works at a web design company - we both work downtown.
