Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello, My name is Miranda, I am a 22 year old young professional here in Ottawa, located in the east end. I have a diploma in community services and have experience working with individuals with special needs. During high school I was a mother's helper for a foster home for youth with disabilities, mostly tidying up after the children of the foster parents', but towards the end of highschool I was working more with the clients, following ABC protocols and medication regimens. Following high school I attended Carleton university for two years, studying psychology. I then attended Herzing College where I recieved a diploma in Community Services. Following college graduation I worked in a group home setting for children and youth with developmental disabilities, there I was a behavioral counsellor and worked one on one with clients with varying special needs, some examples include epilepsy, autism, global developmental delay, deaf, blind, as well as behavioural issues. I am ideally looking for a full time live out position, near the east end of Ottawa, as I do not have a licence and rely on public transportation.
