I would also like to include that I am happy to provide care in my apartment, however, I would also be happy to work in your home. Also, my number is a 613 number because I'm new in Toronto. I have worked for a few families as a babysitter (children from 9 mos - 10 years old), but my real experience has come from volunteering for 1 year at a children's tutoring/disability resource/reading centre. I also assisted weekly at our drop-in night. I have worked in many capacities at this volunteer job, be it basic supervision, food prep, tutoring, reading help, playing, organizing, cleaning, office administration, library help, etc. I feel that I would be exceptional as a child care provider for your children. Working at the centre has really shown me that I want to work with children for the rest of my life. It's something I'm truly passionate about and really enjoy! I am very comfortable and energetic around children. Working at the centre has also taught me to be one of the kids - but also to be able to know how to take control of a situation and be the adult. I think it's vital to have a balance. I have no interest in leading with fear, but leading with mutual respect.
