Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi there! My name is Stephanie :) I have years of childcare experience both as a private childcare provider for a toddler and as an After School Program Leader for large groups of school aged children. I currently work as a Personal Trainer but am looking to go back to providing childcare. I graduated from NSCC in 2009 from the Human Services/Educational Support course. During my work term with NSCC is where i fell in love with working with children. Though it can be challenging at times I find it is overall fun and very rewarding work. These 2 things are very important to me. I believe I have many skills and characteristics that would make me a good fit for a Nanny position, some of which include: experienced childcare giver, activity planning, cleaning and meal preparation, nutrition, educational support background, I model and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle, I am patient, honest, reliable, creative and fun! I am also very organized and good with working on schedule. I also have experience and training working with children with special needs.
