Hi there, my name is Helene. I graduated from a private school in Duncan BC one year ago. I went there my entire life and have had many wonderful experiences while going to private school and having the chance to meet all the wonderful people I have. While in high school I was on numerous clubs and in many groups. I had the chance to help out younger students with absolutely everything as well as helping the teachers out in the classrooms or if they needed a babysitter. While in high school I helped out in classes for the Pre-kindergarten - Grade 7 students. For the past 3 years I have helped out at a horseback-riding summer camp as a councillor for children from the ages of 4-13. I helped them out with everything from bullying to homework, I acted as many of the kids role models. While one of my brothers was in elementary school I would go in and help out in some of his classes. Now I am helping my parents out with my 5 year old brother. I can cook, clean and I love to work with children. My focus when going back to school in the fall is to go back to school to be an learning assistant for people with disabilities.
