Hi there! I recently moved to Montreal from the United States, as I have many friends here and absolutely love this beautiful, multicultural city. I have a wide range of experience with children, from teaching summer camp to groups of 12 children (ages 4 to 13) to babysitting individual children (ages 3 ) and pairs of siblings. While I love teaching, I also really enjoy my one-on-one relationships with kids, as it allows me to adjust my pace to their specific needs and personalities. I like to take an active role when I play with kids, and you won\'t find me on my phone or sitting off to the side. My goal is to be a fun and engaged babysitter and to make kids feel appreciated, listened to, and cared for and for parents to feel confident that their children are being well-cared for and in the manner they request. Some of my favorite play time activities are building forts in the backyard, looking for bugs, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, and reading stories. I\'m also very comfortable and adept at housework, errands, and organizing. I have cleaned houses professionally and worked as a personal assistant. I taught natural science, art, and outdoor skills, to children ages 4-13 at two different summer camps, for a combined 7 years of experience. Through making contacts with parents at summer camp, I have babysat for a wide range of children. My duties as babysitter have included play time, preparing dinner, bathing, homework help, and bedtime responsibilities, as well as light housework.
