Hi there everyone! I am a graduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University, currently completing my Master of Science in Psychology, with a specialization in Behavioural Neuroscience. I have several types of experience in childcare, beginning in high school. I often babysat the children of family friends and neighbours, as well as my younger siblings and cousins [a common burden of the oldest in the family :)]. Since coming to University at age 18, I have continued to hold odd childcare jobs during the summer months, for children ranging in ages from toddlers (youngest was 18 months) to middle school age (oldest was 13 years). I have also held several volunteer positions in childcare institutions during the September-April school year, including daycares and public schools. I have my own vehicle and a full G Licence, CPR and First-Aid certification, and a recent vulnerable sector police check (obtained for my daycare and public school placements). I absolutely love working with children of all ages, especially in an educational context, so I am currently looking for part-time childcare positions to fill up my schedule while I get my degree.
