Hi Parents! My name is Ms. Jenny and I am looking to become a nanny for a loving family from May - Sept. I am a Ontario trained and certified teacher. I have spent the last two years teaching in the UK as a primary school art and technology teacher. I take a very educational approach in my interaction with children, giving space for lots of experiential inquiry. I also have plenty of experience working with children under three and am comfortable with infants. I am looking for a family who wants to provide a healthy, cultured experience for their children throughout the summer months. I would love to be able to take the children on adventures to local art groups, play groups, urban farms, outdoor play areas, fairs and cultural activities. I love spending time outdoors being active and would make planning educational activities with your family fun and inventive. I have a nurturing, playful, yet calm demeanour and am very interested in yoga, meditation, music and optimizing health. I am going back to school to do my Masters of Design at OCAD in the fall so this position I can hold only until the Sept. Ideally, I would like to be working full-time, day time into evening hours. Rate of pay would be negotiated together with you, based on number of children and expected duties. I have a current criminal record check and CPR/first aid trained.
