Hi! My name\'s Naomi. I\'m an English Literature student at McGill, I\'m friendly, extremely responsible, and I absolutely love working with children. I always have a positive attitude toward any experience, and I especially love the rewarding benefits of childcare. As well as English Literature, I\'m studying Linguistics and Psychology. I recently took a Child Development class, which focused on Personality and Social Development. As well, I am fluent in both French and English, although English is my native language. I did French Immersion from grade 6 to 12, and took a French class this past year in university. I have had various work experience over the years, from office work to restaurant work, and, in my younger years, babysitting. All of my work experience has helped me to become a more well-rounded person, and has given me the ability to adapt to many different kinds of situations. As part of my duties when I worked in a restaurant, I was in charge of the kid\'s room. This involved supervising children as they played in the arcade games, ensuring they followed the safety rules, and resolved conflict when it occurred. I would really love the opportunity to babysit again and I look forward to working with you and your child(ren)! Thanks so much. A few years ago, I babysat two girls in my neighbourhood. They were ages six and eight. I babysat occasionally in evenings while the parents went out. We played games, made snacks, but the girls went to bed fairly early and I supervised while they slept. Over the years, I take care of my youngest cousin (starting from when she was a baby, to present age of 10 years) when the family visits. We play make-belief games together, watch TV shows, and I talk to her about her life at school and at home.
