Extensive work experience as a Special Educational Needs Teacher/ Counselor ( 4 years experience at the commission scolaire de Montréal) Areas of knowledge: physical or developmental disabilities, hearing, visual, speech or language disabilities, learning disabilities, behavior disorders or mental illness, etc. I worked as a special needs teacher in various schools with 4 to 13 years old kids. I performed diagnostic assessments to determine student strengths and areas of need. I developed educational goals, objectives and individualized program plans I Chose or adjusted specially designed methods and materials I wrote reports and collaborated with teachers to better follow up children’s improvement.
