Hi, my name is Svenja. I speak German and English fluently. I'm currently finishing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and will be starting my after-degree in Elementary Education with a focus on English as a Second language in September. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, responsible (and always punctual) nanny then I would love to hear from you! I'm looking for summer employment, with a possibility for part time work in the fall. I love working with kids of all ages and look forward to hearing from you :) I babysat from when I was 13 until I graduated high school and started university. I have my Level 2 Childcare (Early Learning and Childcare Certificate), which allowed me to work in a Kindergarten for 4 months. I had various tasks such as planning activities, implementing various activities, participating and helping in whatever area I could. I also did a 4 month practicum and worked as a relief worker in a preschool where I supervised groups of 7 between the ages of 2 and 6. I planned activities for my group, helped prepare meals and snacks, took them on outdoor walks and helped with general clean up. I completed another 30 hour practicum in a Grade 3/4 classroom as part of the education course I took. I made lesson plans, helped children who had fallen behind and wanted to catch up, and taught a math class.I have worked as a nanny for two summers before, once I had twin boys who were 3. I aided them in potty training, with their speech, made meals, planned fun day trips, and spend a lot of time outside with them. The second summer I had two boys again, one was 2 and the other 4 years old. I drove the older one to and from preschool, took them to dentist and doctors appointments, prepared all meals and snacks, did laundry, and planned fun crafts and outdoor activities.
