Hi !! My name is Sophie, I'm from the south-west of England and am currently taking a few years out before I go to study English Literature at University, so far over the last year or so I have visited New Zealand, Australia and Sierra Leone. This year my plans are to go to Canada where I would love to nanny for an awesome family for a year. I am 19 but have had lots of experience with children and really miss it when I don\\\\\\\'t have the opportunity to do any child care. I am fun and often told I\\\\\\\'m a bit of a big kid myself - although still responsible and able to deal with many situations ( when I was in Sierra Leone my class sizes were up to 80 shouting pupils !!) I speak rudimentary french but would love the opportunity to build on this more so bilingual families would be perfect :) I have always been able to build up a good rapport with children and am easy to live with.I\\\\\\\'m happy to help around the house and with cooking and laundry etc. I hope you like my application and I look forward from hearing from you ! Sophie :) Having started babysitting from the Age of 14 I have developed experience with all ages from 2month old twins up to 18 year olds in a classroom. I hugely enjoy working with children and have worked in a private school in England as a part- time teaching assistant, babysat for many families often on a very regular basis and taught maths in Sierra Leone for two months last year with children aged between 7 and 23. I have work experience in a French primary school for a few weeks as well as spending six months at 15 yrs old in a private pre-prep. References are available from everyone I have worked with.
