Hi! My name is Meghan, and I\'m a third year media student at Western University. After years of working retail hours at a high end boutique, I\'m looking for an exciting change of pace. I will be working weekend events for the Panam games this summer, but am in search of part-time weekday work that will allow me get a little dirty and have a lot of fun. Here are some facts about me that will give you a better grasp on my personality and passions: - My best friend is my 4-year-old little brother - I am a travel and culture enthusiast; I went on exchange to Japan in high school, taught in Haiti last year and will be attending the University of Hong Kong in September - I love to learn, and plan on staying in academia indefinitely - I am a major foodie; I spend more time than I\'d like to admit watching the Food Network - \"Playing Outside\" is still my favourite pass time As a member of a "modern family", I am fortunate enough to call myself big sister to a 4 year old little boy. This has made me a 24/7, live-in babysitter for much of my highschool and university life. I've done the mornings and after school activities, and have been entrusted to be his sole caregiver over week long periods. I have done the diapers, the toddler tantrums, the packed lunches and the swimming lessons - and just about everything in between. Aside from this vast long-term experience, I have several contacts from whom I babysat for throughout my elementary and high school years. Before my perma-nanny job, I was the "go to" babysitter for my neighbourhood. I have experience watching over children of various ages and personalities, along with experience teaching young children dance at my local studio.
