Hi my name is Lauren Bellefeuille! I am currently a grade 11 student at St-Matthews High School. I am looking for a part-time and full time summer employment. I love kids and enjoy spending time with them! Thank you Lauren In 2011, I volunteered at the information desk at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. In this role, I provided directions to patients and families visiting CHEO for care. I also had the opportunity to interface directly with patients - particularly with children undergoing chemotherapy treatment. I played games with them to provide distraction. During this time I also spoke with their parents and welcomed them to the department. Being able to provide a positive experience for a patient during such a difficult time was something that was challenging but I was happy to be able to contribute. I think this would be a useful skill in the customer service role at the Ministry of Health and Long term Care
